Why Love Sparks and Why It Sometimes Dies

The magick and mystery of love is the magick and mystery of duality. Like the yin/yang symbol we move through life spinning in the embrace of our polar opposite. As we become more alike our relationship changes in predictable ways and sometimes the spark and the love seems to be lost forever.

These experiences of falling in love are the main ways we grow as persons in life. Our love partner causes something to grow inside of us and we become greater than we were before. This works both ways and our partner feels the same way. These experiences are symbolized within the minor arcana of the tarot deck and explored within this book.

There is a larger cycle here in which we move from co-dependency into personal freedom. This is about the evolution of our souls and the integration of male and female within our own psyche. These are symbolized by the Major Arcana of the tarot deck and explored as well.

In the description of each tarot card we can find something that speaks out to us from personal experience and show us the direction we are heading and what the next challenges might be.
