OAK:Magister Templi
Advanced Concepts in Metaphysics
Magister Templi means “Master of the Temple” and indicates someone that has attained the pinnacle of human spirituality, crossing the Great Abyss. All religions and mystical organizations have recognised and honored this achievement in various ways and called it many things including Cosmic Consciousness or Christ Awareness.
Psychologically this involves going beyond the limitations of logical and rational reasoning into the realm of self evident truth. There is a paradoxical element to all things below the Great Abyss. With logic and reasoning we see this in the ability to rationalise any viewpoint in the way we wish. These distortions cause us to act in self defeating ways.
The human ego can not cross the Great Abyss because it is an intellectual construct. Only the spirit can cross and then only in a sense of unity with all things. The Great Abyss symbolizes the resolution of paradox, the union of opposites, and the fundamental reduction of all things down into Source or Spiritual Light. At the deepest and the highest levels we are not only connected to everything else that exists, we are everything else that exists!
Awareness moves across the Great Abyss through a series of “Illuminations” with glimpses of Architypal reality or self evident truth. In time the awareness can exist permanently at this level. This is the state termed Cosmic Consicousness by the Rosicrucians. Entry into this level of awareness can not be granted or given through any type of initiation. It can only be earned and experienced through Cosmic initiation.
Entry into this level of awareness is also entry into a group of advanced souls called the Great White Brotherhood. These brothers and sisters are the guardians of the human race and work tirelessly to advance the human condition. They have also been called the Spiritual Hierarchy and offer teachings that are appropriate for those that are ready to hear them.
OAK:Magister Templi describes my own trip across the Great Abyss and things that I have learned there. These are things that are true for me. They might not be true for anyone else. I only ask that you read with an open mind and reserve judgement until your own heart and conscience help you find your own truth.
